The Bowers & Wilkins DB1D is the most powerful active subwoofer Bowers & Wilkins has ever made; its 2000 Watt amplifier provides astonishing reserves of drive and authority while an all-new digital pre-amplifier ensures this awesome muscle is always delivered at optimum levels. It uses two 12- inch Aerofoil cones, identical to those found in the 800 Series Diamond, in a dual balanced configuration for incredible stability.

As with all the new DB Series, the flagship Bowers & Wilkins DB1D is incredibly simple to configure and use thanks to a dedicated mobile App for both iOS and Android devices. This mobile app incorporate a room EQ system that requires no separate microphone kit. This power combined with precision audiophile technologies derived from the 800 Series Diamond means that the subwoofers deliver deep and agile, pristine bass whether used in a home cinema or a stereo system. Available in a gloss black sleek finish, B&W has packed a lot of new technology into a small and elegant package.

Its 2000 Watt Class D amplifier bestows it with astonishing reserves of drive and authority, while its incredibly rigid structure provides the perfect platform for its twin, dual balanced 12-inch Aerofoil drivers. The DB1D uses Aerofoil cones identical to those found in the 800 Series Diamond. These light, ultra-stiff drivers resist bending and flexing far longer than conventional cones, delivering controlled bass with outstanding precision. Featuring a massive 12-inch driver – it’s the largest Aerofoil cone B&W has yet made.

Balanced Drivers
The Bowers & Wilkins DB1D subwoofer uses two bass cones arranged in an opposed, balanced configuration that greatly reduces cabinet vibration and ensures a cleaner, more precise sound. The result is fantastic, coloration-free bass.

Dedicated Mobile App
App-based set-up means the DB1D is simple to configure and use. The App includes positioning guides and can be used to set up and control both output and audio preset modes. A Room EQ system allows you to optimise the subwoofer’s performance for your room automatically. No separate microphone kit is required and the App is available for iOS and Android.
