At the heart of the VI-Q’s design is its lightweight carbon fiber cone, which is engineered to deliver excellent rigidity and minimal mass. This innovative material helps reduce distortion, ensuring that the subwoofer produces clean, precise sound across a wide range of frequencies. Paired with a 3-inch voice coil, the cone’s movement is controlled with precision, resulting in optimum vibration behavior and minimal distortion during even the most demanding audio moments.
High-Power, Class-D Amplification
The Velodyne VI-Q features a Class-D amplifier that offers up to 650 watts RMS of power, with a peak power of 1200 watts.
